The world’s first mobile MOBA game tournament will be held in Hollywood, California, from December 2-4. Located at the TCL Chinese Theater, 12 teams will compete in a tournament titled Vainglory World Championship.
The North American and European regions receive 3 slots, while the China, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, South America and Wildcard regions each receive one slot.
Last Monday, Vainglory’s official website announced a group draw for the VWC tournament, 12 teams will be divided into 4 groups and compete in a round robin format with a calculation of 1 point per win. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Single-elimination bracket round.
Quarterfinals are held in a best-of-3 format, best-of-5 Semifinals, and best-of-7 Grand Final.
